A day to remember.

The last Friday, 15 of february it was a day to remember. It was a perfect day for me I spent it all with my friends by doing a lot of different things. It was the birthday’s party of one of my best friends, Paula, it was going to be at 5:30 hours but when we went out to school we remembered that we hadn’t got any present for her! Then we went to buy it in Valencia but we did it with only 1 hour of time, it seems enough but it’s not easy to find the perfect present. When we finished there we went to the river to meet the other girls and Paula’s too, it was going to start the picnic and… well we all love to eat so it was a great thing to do. After eating we were talking and laughing and then it arrived the hour of the presents, we gave them to her and , by looking her face you could see that she was happy and surpristed, it was a wonderful present. After all the presents we began to make photos making strange faces and funny possitions. It was lovely. It was begining to make cold so we decide to move ourselves, they were the 7:30 hours and we went to her house to prepare ourselves for the second part of the birthday: a wonderful concert. We made our dinner and we went to the place where it was going to be the concert, it was a concert of the “Primavera Valenciana” it was like a kind of little fight we made against the government cuts. It was magycal, they sang 20 different groups, finally it bécame long but it didn’t matter, we spent a great time aqually. When it finished we went to sleep to Paula’s house and we finished the day there, all togheter, it was a day to repeat, i love them too much and i hope to have them by my side in many other days.

For my german girl.

Hello Paula.
I'm Paula (what a coincidence..) and i'm your Spanish ..... companion? I don't know how to say that.... Well this is the first time that I write to you and it's only to say that you'll be welcome to Spain and to tell you a few things about me and my family... well I begin with my family.. (i think is easier to talk about them)
Well about my mother, her name's Mayte and you have to know that she doesn't know anything about english but she loves to try to expresate herself by signs, she is so funny trying to make understand (you'll love her way to express a thing), about Benja, he's my mother's boyfriend and he's able to talk in English (vocabulary etz...) but I think my mother's even better with pronuntiation, don't worry i'll try to be a good translator.

Well about my pet family, I have two dogs and one cat, now we have just changed our house and they are still trying to adapt theirselves for being together (it's the first time that my dog tries to live with a cat and sometimes it's a little bit difficult) I hope that when you came this would be better but don't worry they are so good and i'm sure you'll end up loving them as much as I do :)
And about me, I think there are not so much things to say, I love dancing, singing or any other thing. Now i'm trying to play guitar (only triying), when I began i thinked it was going to be easier but i think that my fingers doesn't agree with that :) Well seriosly, I love to do a lot of things so don't worry because I can adapt myself on any plan.

I'm looking foward having your answer. Hope to see you soon.

Paula

Carnival.

The last friday 8 of february it was carnival! But it wasn't a usual carnival, it was our last carnival in the school. We decided to disguise ourselves as "The lord of the rings" I'm proud about that because we were the only group that decided to be together , it was great! Each one was a character of the book as Gandalf, Saruman, Bilbo and things like these. I disguised myself as a bird, specifically as a "Griffin", it's a mythological animal and it's supposted to be the most big and elegant one that have ever existed. I was all dressed in white and from my back to my hands i had two big and magical wings (painted by me). I chose that costume because I would have like to look like an Indian, surrounded by feathers and with a braid done in my hair. At the end I looked more like a bird than like an Indian but I was pretty enough to accept it. Doing the costume, making photos and walking along the school with it was good but after, the activities and the music were even better. We spent the day dancing with a game of the "Wii" and singing with the music that teachers putted to us. Another lovely thing was the costume contest, we walked along the canteen showing our costumes and also we made a kind of funny "coreography" by showing it. This year we are in ESO 4 and it's a tradition to dress up one of the students as "The Carnival King" this year, I have been this student. I dressed up myself like a queen and i went into the primary classrooms to give some sweets to the kids. It was wonderful and all of them were joyfully, i would like to repeat the experience. I hope to have more carnivals like this one I spent a great, wonderfull and magical day.
